Andrew Rowson, my dear friend who has been helping me put together the new version of Presetcentral.com, has put the finishing touches on the main site that is to host the PSPlant client.

We’ve made great progress with PSPlant so we’ve decided to show it off at tomorrow’s London Lightwave Usergroup meeting.

Not so much a fact, but the first PSPlant screenshot for you all to admire… more coming soon!
PSPlant will have a SOAP XML API available to plugin developers to integrate in their own plugins. Just imagine being able to download presets based on a search from within Dynamite or IFW!
Naturally the above is speculative
PSPlant will allow you to subscribe to a user’s presets OR a particular series of presets and download them automatically for you.
E.g. subscribe to DigiFreak’s explosion series of HyperVoxels presets and PSPlant will make sure you have the latest version ready to use in Lightwave3D. Cool huh?
PSPlant is clever enough to know where to store your presets when downloaded so you can use them straight away.
PSPlant will allow you to share your presets with fellow Lightwavers either individually or in batches. Cool huh?
