  • Thanks to all the bloggers who have done an excellent job at getting the photos up on the net asap.

Not sure what else to say… :(

    Update 12:00 GMT:
It would seem there were 6 explosions in total, 5 at tube stations and one London bus. I have read on another blog that Brighton has also been hit, but thats it unconfirmed to date.

Reading the BBC website it would seem that Al-Qaeda were probably responsible.

I will keep digging for pictures of the event and update this entry as and when…

My thoughts go out to those who have been injured or killed in this morning attack. Its a journey we Londoners make every morning - our daily commute to work. We knew it would happen, we were even warned.

    Update 13:06 GMT
There are now a total of 7 confirmed bomb blasts, 6 of which were on the London Underground.

Spiegel, a german publication has a piece on the statement made by the group claiming responsability (Sorry german).

    Update 15:51 GMT
It would seem that some bomb blasts were heard from multiple stations, hence the high number of reported incidents. There have been 4 explosion all together.

2nd round of attacks. Pictures and news…
